February 9, Fineko/abc.az. The Energy Information Administration of the U.S. Department of Energy (EIA) has not changed the forecast on daily production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons in Azerbaijan for 2022-23.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the EIA that in 2022 the daily production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons in Azerbaijan will amount to 740,000 b/d, which conforms to the previous forecast.

At that, production in the 1st quarter of 2022 is projected at 740,000 b/d (January forecast – 730,000 b/d), in the 2nd quarter – 740,000 b/d (740,000 b/d), in the 3rd quarter – 740,000 b/d (740,000 b/d), in the 4th quarter - 730,000 b/d (740,000 b/d).

According to the forecast, the daily production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons in Azerbaijan in 2023 will amount to 710,000 b/d, which conforms to the previous forecast.

At that, oil production in the 1st quarter of 2023 will amount to 720,000 b/d, in the 2nd quarter – 710,000 b/d, in the 3rd quarter – 700,000 b/d, in the 4th quarter – 72,000 b/d.

Country’s daily production of liquid hydrocarbons was at the level of 720,000 barrels in 2021 and 700,000 in 2020.
