February 8, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has signed the Decree on additional measures in the field of social protection of pensioners.
ABC.AZ reports that the order is aimed at strengthening the social protection of pensioners, mitigating the negative consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the effects of the processes taking place on international markets on prices within the country on the social welfare of retired workers, as well as increasing state care for specific groups of the population in the post-war period. Under the decree, pensioners who have work experience and retired before 1 January 2022 (with the exception of pensioners receiving allowances for work experience), will be provided in 2022 with the payment of material assistance in the amount of 200 manats (in equal parts once a quarter).
