Visa-free trips to Serbia are expected

February 1, Fineko/abc.az. The visa regime between Azerbaijan and Serbia is being canceled for persons with a general passport.

ABC.AZ reports that in this regard, a draft law on the approval of the Azerbaijan-Serbia Intergovernmental Agreement on the mutual elimination of visa requirements for persons with a civil passport was discussed at today's Milli Majlis session.

After discussions, the bill was put to the vote and adopted.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is expected to sign the draft law.

The agreement on the abolition of the visa regime between the countries was signed in Belgrade on 11 October 2021 during a meeting between Azerbaijani FM Jeyhun Bayramov and Serbian FM Nikola Selakovic.

It should be mentioned that last month the visa regime between Azerbaijan and Qatar was canceled.
