January 21, Fineko/abc.az. In 2021, the number of citizens leaving Azerbaijan for Turkey increased by 2.4 times compared with 2020.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee that in general, in 2021 there was a decrease in the number of citizens leaving Azerbaijan abroad.

Thus, traveling abroad decreased by 16.3% compared with the previous year and reached 974,500 people.

Despite this, the number of people traveling to Turkey grew by 2.4 times, and those traveling to Russia by 7.8%.
