January 7, Fineko/abc.az. Taking into account the special quarantine regime requirements in Azerbaijan, the application of administrative penalties (deportation) outside the country against foreigners who violate the requirements of migration legislation and live without documents granting the right to stay or a residence permit is limited.
In this regard, foreigners staying in the country for a long time or living without documents granting the right to reside are invited to apply to the State Migration Service in order to legalize their residence.
ABC.AZ reports that this was informed by Migration Service’s head Vusal Huseynov.
According to Huseynov, legalization is necessary from angle of vaccination and access to medical services, taking legal actions on the territory of the country, as well as preventing the use of tougher administrative penalties in the future.
