January 6, Fineko/abc.az. Baku Metro CJSC has published a report on its activities for the past year.

ABC.AZ informs that the quantity of passengers carried in 2021, as of 06:00 am on 1 January 2022, reached 90,232,427 people (including 87,181,452 ones on a paid basis).

On average, for 186 days of its operation, the underground transported 485,121 passengers (including 468,717 paid ones).

As a whole, taking into account all the days of 2021, the average daily passenger traffic amounted to 247,212 passengers (238,853 paid ones).

For comparison, in 2019, the metro carried 236,681,650 passengers (including 229,724,538 paid ones). This means that an average of 648,443 (including 629,382 paid) passengers daily.
