December 28, Fineko/abc.az. A strain called omicron is reportedly more contagious. We are concerned about the extremely high contagion of the new strain.

ABC.AZ reports that presidential aide Shahmar Movsumov stated about this at a briefing.

He said that Christmas and other holidays were canceled because of this in some countries:

"Concert halls and cinemas have been closed in Denmark, all Christmas events in Greece have been canceled, and a decision has been made on mandatory vaccination of persons over 60 years of age. Currently, the situation in Azerbaijan is stable, there is no need to tighten quarantine."
