December 28, Fineko/abc.az. Studies show that in 4 months after the second dose of vaccine, the protective effect of the vaccine begins to decrease, so a third, booster dose should be administered.

ABC.AZ reports that presidential aide Shahmar Movsumov stated about this at a briefing.

He said that after 15 February the validity period of COVID-19 passports is set in 6 months: "The passport is considered expired 6 months after the 2nd dose of vaccine. That is, in 6 months after the 2nd dose, it will be impossible to get to certain places on an expired passport. To do this, it is recommended to introduce a booster dose. All vaccine passports are valid until 15 February.”
