December 24, Fineko/abc.az. The minimum amount of labor pensions in Azerbaijan from 1 January 2022 will increase by 20% and reach 240 manats.
ABC.AZ reports citing MP Ali Masimli at the Milli Majlis plenary session.
He noted that here speech is about an increase of 40 manats:
"According to data for the first 10 months, the average monthly salary in the country is 723 manats. By the end of the year, the growth may reach 3%. If there is an increase in pensions in 2022, it is desirable that it be a humane and noticeable increase,” the MP said.
According to Masimli, most of the country’s population receives a median salary of 443 manats.
“Will there be an increase in pensions for those who receive this median salary? It would be good if the number of high-paying jobs increased," the MP added.
