December 6, Fineko/abc.az. Next year, wages will increase by an average of 40-50% and pensions by an average of 40-45 manats.

ABC.AZ reports that chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Labor & Social Protection Musa Guliyev stated about this.

He noted that in 2022 there will be almost 2-fold rise of some pensions and social benefits, and therefore, against the background of the increase, it is necessary to take steps to protect social well-being:

"During the budget discussions at Milli Majlis it was noted that growth may completely stop in the 1st half of next year. If this year inflation was on average 8-10%, then next year it may decrease to 3-4%, which means that incomes will exceed expenses."
