November 29, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev was on a visit to Ashgabat on 29 November. 

ABC.AZ reports that during the visit the Azerbaijani leader met with his Iranian counterpart Said Ibrahim Raisi. The parties signed a document within the framework of the visit. 

After the meeting, President Aliyev stated to journalists that the document is of great importance.
"This is a historical document that once again shows how deep the Iranian-Azerbaijani relationships are. Azerbaijan will purchase Turkmen gas through Iran. This is a great ground for trilateral cooperation and shows our intentions. The signed document is also of great significance from angle of economic and energy security," President Aliyev underlined.
