November 4, Fineko/abc.az. During the first 3 quarters of the year the operating expenses of the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP) reached about $39 million and capital expenditures about $8 million.

ABC.AZ reports that for Jan-Sept 2021 the average daily capacity of SCP totaled 46.8 million cu m. On 1 August the process of transferring the technical operation of SCP from BP Exploration Limited (Shah Deniz) to SOCAR Midstream Operations Limited was completed. 

Thus, despite the difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, BP and SOCAR, working closely together to effectively implement all aspects of the transition, successfully completed the process, started in March 2020, in July 2021.
