April 9, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has ordered a new batch of coins.

CBA chair Elman Rustamov stated that the coins are timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (ADR) and the 95th birthday anniversary of the late national leader Heydar Aliyev.

"2,000 coins will be released in honor of the anniversary of the ADR, and another 2,000 ones on the occasion of birthday anniversary of Heydar Aliyev," Rustamov said.
