Central Bank sold $62.3 million to banks at a currency auction

March 11, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) held a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

According to the CBA, $62.3 million was sold to banks at today’s currency auction.

"The demand from banks at the foreign exchange auction amounted to $62.3 million and was fully met," the CBA said in a statement.

At the end of the auction the weighted average exchange rate was AZN 1.70 to the US dollar.
