March 5, Fineko/abc.az. Five petrochemical plants are to be constructed in Kazakhstan by 2025, ABC.AZ reports citing Kazakh Energy Minister Nurlan Nogayev.
According to the minister, three of them will be built in Aktau and two - in Shymkent and Uralsk.
Nogayev stressed that a national project on the development of the petrochemical industry will be prepared in 2021.
The goal is to accelerate petrochemical production and create attractive conditions for potential investors.
