ABC.AZ reports that this was stated by President Ilham Aliyev during the video-format reception of Vugar Suleymanov in connection with his appointment as the chairman of board of the Agency for Mine Clearance.

The head of state noted that the Agency should make great contribution to our common cause.

"Since the technical equipment of the previous agency was at a very low level, the number of employees was not large. If we were to leave it to them, it would take many years, but we don't have time. We must soon return the former refugees and IDPs to their native lands. But everyone should know that the primary task is mine clearance," President Aliyev stressed.
