December 25, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank has released some indicators on the domestic banking sector.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the monthly statistics of country’s main bank, as of 1 December 2020 the loan portfolio of banks in Azerbaijan decreased by 2.9% in annual terms to AZN 14.68 bn.

As of 1 December 30.03% of the country's banks' loan portfolio consisted of loans in foreign currency in the amount of AZN 4.408 bn.

This indicator has decreased by 5.15% over the past year and by 7.2% over the past two years. The last time the level of dollarization of loans was less than on 1 February 2015 and made up 27%.
