ABC.AZ reports that a range of important points was touched upon during the debates.

Finance Minister Samir Sharifov has brought clarity to the issue of external borrowing.

“We’re going to borrow money from abroad to stimulate economic activity in the country. One way to avoid external borrowing is to raise taxes. And raising taxes is a conspiracy. So we go for borrowing. This factor is also present in the practice of countries around the world,” the minister emphasized.
