Victory Day to be a non-working day

December 7, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is making changes to the Labor Code in connection with Victory Day.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant draft laws have been included in the agenda of the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Labor & Social Policy, held in the format of a video conference.

According to the proposed amendment to the Labor Code, every year November 8 will be marked as the Victory Day. The Victory Day will be assigned to public holidays that are considered non-working days.

It should be noted that the draft law is based on the Presidential Decree on the establishment of Victory Day in the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 3, 2020.
