October 16, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has conducted a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

The CBA reports that it sold $64.7 million to banks at the 15 October currency auction.

"The demand from banks at the auction amounted to $64.7 million and was fully met," the CBA said.

As a result of the auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat to the dollar was AZN 1.70.
