August 10, Fineko/abc.az. Ex-deputy head of the State Border Service Lt.- Gen. Afgan Nagiyev has been released under house arrest. In this regard, the Baku Military Court issued a decision.

ABC.AZ was informed on the occasion at the press service of the General Prosecutor’s Office.

Nagiyev and coast guard officials were detained as a result of operational activities carried out by the State Security Service and the GPO. The accused are charged under Articles 308 (abuse of authority) and 311.3 (taking a large bribe) of the Criminal Code.
