July 29, Fineko/abc.az. Top 3 of the countries of the Persian Gulf, where Azerbaijan conducted the largest number of trade operations for Jan-Jun 2020, included Iran, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee that for the reported term Azerbaijan's trade turnover with Iran totaled $155.5 million, with the UAE - $20 million, and with Saudi Arabia $6.3 million. Azerbaijan observed a decline in the trade turnover with Iran and the UAE and an increase with Saudi Arabia compared with Jan-Jun 2019.

These countries are also in Top 3 of the Persian Gulf countries from where Azerbaijan imports the largest amount of products. In particular, Azerbaijan imported goods for $137.4 million from Iran, for $14.4 million from the UAE, and for $5.4 million from Saudi Arabia. For comparison, Azerbaijan’s import operations with these countries decreased against the same term of last year.
