July 6, Fineko/abc.az. The matter of the possibility of closing broadcasting channels in Azerbaijan has been clarified.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to news agency APA that this was told by Ismet Sattarov, the chairman of the National TV & Radio Broadcasting Council.

He noted that most likely there will be a reduction in the number of channels for economic reasons.

"I personally do not predict an increase in the number of channels," Sattarov said.
