Large staff reduction in popular restaurant chain – 5,000 people to be laid off

July 1, Fineko/abc.az. SSP Group operating in the UK has made a decision to lay off 5,000 people in the coming days.

ABC.AZ reports that staff reductions will be carried out mainly in such restaurant chains as Upper Crust and Caffè Ritazza, which are part of this group and operate at airports and railway stations.

The reason for the reduction is the negative impact of the coronavirus epidemic on the Group's operations.

The SSP Group is employing about 39,000 people.
