May 8, Fineko/abc.az. Interest in debit and credit cards has increased.

ABC.AZ reports that the growing interest in credit cards in Azerbaijan has also affected the volume of transactions.

So, as of 1 April the number of transactions with debit and credit cards reached 18.537 million and their amount AZN 2.673 million.

In comparison with the indicator by 1 March the amount of transactions with cards rose by AZN 457 million or 20%. Compared with the beginning of 2020, the transactions with debit and credit cards grew by AZN 786 million or 41%.
