May 7, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has conducted a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

According to the CBA, $56.5 million was sold to banks in a currency auction on 7 May.

"The demand from banks in the currency auction amounted to $56.5 million and was fully met," the CBA said in a statement.

Following the trading, the average weighted exchange rate of the manat to the US dollar was AZN 1.70.
