Milli Majlis makes a decision on Elman Rustamov

April 9, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani parliamentarians have discussed the appointment of Elman Rustamov as a member of the Board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that the matter was put to a vote after discussion.

It should be noted that the last time when Rustamov was approved by the MPs for this position for the 5-year term was on 3 April 2015. 

On 9 April of the same year President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on this appointment. 
Currently, Rustamov is 68 years old and has been the head of the CBA for 25 years.
