March 5, Fineko/abc.az. Georgian credit organization TBC Kredit, operating in Azerbaijan, intends to become a bank.

ABC.AZ was informed about that by banking expert Ekrem Hasanov.

He noted that TBC Kredit is a serious organization and successfully operates even at some of our banks.

Hasanov pointed out that this will not be the opening of a new bank in Azerbaijan, but simply the transformation of a credit institution into a bank. The expert stressed that Azerbaijan has already had such an experience: "If you remember, there was a bank - Para Bank, which turned into a non-bank credit organization. And now TBC Kredit can become a bank. But this will not cause serious changes in the market, since this organization already exists and conducts credit activities. It simply cannot accept deposits and conduct non-cash payments. And after this organization becomes a bank, it will be able to conduct these operations."
