December 19, Fineko/abc.az. The State Statistics Committee reports that the oil & gas sector of Azerbaijan was invested AZN 4.8 bn for the past 11 months of 2019.

Over Jan-Nov 2019 the oil & gas sector produced products for AZN 27.905 bn. In this sector of industry the production decreased by 0.2% versus the 2018 same term. And value added in the oil and gas sector increased by 0.2%. 70% of industrial production is extracted in the mining sector.

The price index of producers of industrial products in November made up 105.0%, including in the mining industry 106.7%, against the previous month.

Since the beginning of last month 34,900 people have worked in the oil and gas sector of the economy. In the oil & gas sector, nominal wages for Jan-Oct amounted to AZN 3,060.8.
