Fed has cut discount rate - For the third time

October 31, Fineko/abc.az. The US Federal Reserve (Fed) has revised the discount rate.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that this time the Fed lowered the discount rate by 0.25% to 1.5-1.75%. Before that, the Fed cut the discount rate by 0.25%, from 2.25-2.5% to 2-2.25%.

The Fed serves as the Central Bank in the U.S.
