October 30, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan registered 2.4 million foreign citizens from 191 countries, who visited the country for Jan-Sept of the year (rise of 9.5% versus Jan-Sept 2018).

ABC.AZ reports that the data is covered by journal Export Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications, issued in October 2019.

In September the number of foreign citizens who visited Azerbaijan increased by 20.8%, and their operations through bank cards totaled AZN 106.2 million.

As a whole, for Jan-Sept 2019 the cost of bank card transaction of foreign citizens who arrived in Azerbaijan reached AZN 969 million.
