September 5, Fineko/abc.az. Rovshan Najaf has been appointed as the new head of the Azerbaijan Financial Monitoring Service.

The corresponding decree on the appointment of Rovshan Najaf was signed by President Ilham Aliyev on August 28.

Rovshan Najaf previously headed the department of innovative development and e-government of the Presidential Administration, and until October 2018 held the position of executive director of the Azerbaijan Investment Company.

According to the decree of the President of Azerbaijan dated May 30, 2019, the Financial Monitoring Service  will operate under the Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan.
