May 3, Fineko/abc.az. The Institute of Tax Ombudsman has been established in Azerbaijan for the first time.

The Ministry of Taxes reports that the Institute was established by Tax Minister’s order with the purpose to ensure more effective protection of taxpayer rights.

"Adviser to Tax Minister Elchin Mammadov has been appointed the Tax Ombudsman," the Ministry said in a statement.
