November 5, Fineko/abc.az. The average monthly pension is to increase up to 640 manats next year.

MP Musa Guliyev made the relevant statement during the discussion of State Budget 2027 and the budget of the State Social Protection Fund.

"The increase in wages, pensions and benefits will contribute to improving social well-being. The statement of President Ilham Aliyev at the VIII Congress of the New Azerbaijan Party on increasing salaries, pensions, allowances and scholarships is important from angle of strengthening social protection of the population.

The economic successes achieved by the country in 2026 have created a favorable basis for the continuation of socially oriented fiscal policy in 2027. The envisaged increase will contribute to growth of population’s income and improve their social well-being. Next year, the average monthly pension is projected to increase by 45 manats up to 640 manats," Guliyev noted.
