October 22, Fineko/abc.az. Next year, Azerbaijan plans to receive dividends from more than 40 state institutions in the amount of approx. 900 million manats.

Finance Minister Sahil Babayev said at the Baku conference "Digital Financial Ecosystem: A New Stage in Governance".

According to the minister, in accordance with the President's instructions, a special reporting portal has been created to monitor the activities of state-owned companies and improve the dividend policy.

"In a short period, 1,113 enterprises have registered on the portal and 11,434 reports have been submitted. As a result, the budget reports of 950 state-owned companies for 2026 have been received, and the preparation of dividend forecasts for 885 enterprises has been completed," Babayev said.

The minister emphasized that according to the analysis, for the first time such significant dividend payments are provided in the State Budget. He also noted that this is a vivid indicator of the successes achieved in recent years in the management of state-owned companies and a new approach to public financial policy.
