September 29, Fineko/abc.az. According to the Ministry of Digital Development & Transport, due to the renovation of the road infrastructure and expansion of logistics capabilities in the transport and warehousing sector, high growth rates are maintained.

Over Jan-Aug 2026, the value added created in the sector grew by 8.7% in real terms, reaching 6.654 billion manats. As a result, industry's share in GDP increased up to 7.6% and in non-oil & gas GDP up to 10.8%.

The output of the sector observed growth by the same amount up to 10.932 billion manats and investments in the industry by 4.6% up to 2.752 billion manats.

These indicators further strengthen Azerbaijan's position as a regional logistics and digital center.
