September 21, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Aug 2026, gold production in Azerbaijan decreased by 7.9% year-on-year and amounted to 1 ton 946.3 kg.

According to the State Statistics Committee, despite the decline in production, as of September 1, stocks of finished products in industrial warehouses increased 2.1-fold against Jan-Aug 2025 and reached 236.1 kg.

A similar trend was observed in silver mining. Silver production in the country fell by 9.3% versus Jan-Aug 2025 to 2,492 kg. Despite this, by September 1, silver reserves recorded in industrial warehouses grew by 22.8% up to 708.5 kg.
