September 16, Fineko/abc.az. The banking sector of Azerbaijan demonstrates stable and sustainable development. Economic diversification and support for the non-oil sector are reflected in banks' loan portfolios.

Digitalization remains an important factor in development of the sector. The expansion of remote banking services and the measures to increase customer satisfaction contribute to grown competition between banks.

At that, measures to increase the availability of financial services and risk management in accordance with prudential requirements support the stability of the banking sector.
