September 15, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st half of 2026, the money transfers sent to Azerbaijan by individuals from abroad increased by 40.2% against Jan-Jun 2025 and reached $748.46 million.

According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, this figure reached $533.96 million.

The largest share of revenue came from Russia - $356.65 million (47.7% of the total).

Transfers from Turkey increased up to $108.31 million, from Georgia up to $25.47 million, while the volume of funds sent from the U.S. decreased to $46.53 million.

The sharpest growth was recorded in Ireland - transfers from this country grew 7.3-fold up to $42.96 million.
