September 14, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBAR) has officially joined the Sustainable Insurance Forum (SIF), a leadership network convened under the UNDP with support from the International Association of Insurance Supervisors.

Through this membership, CBAR gains direct access to international supervisory collaboration, expert knowledge sharing on climate risks, and representation within SIF’s specialized working groups.

The milestone will enable CBAR to integrate global best practices into the domestic insurance sector, enhancing its resilience against climate-related vulnerabilities and ESG risks. Established in 2016, the SIF serves as a global platform uniting insurance regulators to address critical sustainability challenges facing the sector.
