September 14, Fineko/abc.az. Finance Minister and Asian Development Bank (ADB) Governor for Azerbaijan Sahil Babayev met with a visiting delegation of the ADB Board of Directors.

It was highlighted that since joining the bank, Azerbaijan has received $5.6 billion in total financing across 160 projects. Discussions centered on the Country Partnership Strategy for 2025–2029, focusing on economic diversification, expanding non-sovereign operations, and attracting private capital.

The delegation emphasized the importance of continued cooperation under the CAREC Program in transport, energy, and trade. Key portfolio items reviewed included the ongoing Azerbaijan Railways Digital Transformation Project, alongside pipeline initiatives across the energy, transport, and water supply sectors.
