September 1, Fineko/abc.az. On September 1, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.

During the talk, the sides emphasized that Azerbaijani-Turkish bilateral relations are based on brotherhood and strategic alliance, expressing satisfaction with the further expansion of ties across all areas. It was specifically highlighted that, in line with the "One nation, two states" principle, the two countries stand by each other both in good times and in challenging days.

The meeting featured an exchange of views on further strengthening regional peace and stability. The heads of state also discussed the prospects of strategic alliance relations, the regional agenda, and other matters of mutual interest.
