August 31, Fineko/abc.az. The Board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has amended the “Procedure for Credit Risk Management in Banks.”

According to ABC.AZ, in this regard, CBA First Deputy Chairman and Acting Chairman Aliyar Mammadliyarov signed a new decision.

Under the decision, activities that meet the requirements set out in the “National Green Taxonomy,” approved by a Cabinet of Ministers resolution dated May 1, 2026, will be classified as “green activities.”

In addition, supporting documents issued by international organizations may include the certifications specified in the “Key Criteria/Technical Standards and Required Certifications” column of the tables in the “Sectoral Technical Assessment Criteria” of the National Green Taxonomy, as well as ESG-rated documents, where available.
