August 12, Fineko/abc.az. During the first half of this year, local banks utilized both liquidity-absorbing and liquidity-providing standing facilities of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

According to the CBA's semi-annual "Monetary Policy Review," banks accessed the overnight deposit facility on 100% of business days and the overnight reverse repo facility on 3% of business days between January and June.

In total, 112 overnight deposit operations and 4 overnight reverse repo operations were executed during the reporting period.
