December 12, Fineko/abc.az. 15 years have passed since the death of the architect and creator of the modern independent state of Azerbaijan, world-class political figure, national leader of our people Heydar Aliyev.

On 12 December, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and family members visited the grave of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honorable Burial.

The Alley of Honorable Burial was also visited by MPs, ministers, heads of committees, companies and institutions, representatives of the public of the country.

President Ilham Aliyev laid a wreath at the grave of the great leader.

From early morning people are coming in an inexhaustible stream to the Alley of Honorable Burial in order to honor the memory of the national leader. Among those who came to honor the memory of the founder of the modern independent state of Azerbaijan, world-famous political figure Heydar Aliyev, are soldiers, reps of educational, cultural, medical institutions, veterans of war and labor, people of various professions, and students.

Today, ceremonies honoring the memory of great leader Heydar Aliyev are being held not only in Baku, but also in all the districts of Azerbaijan and abroad.
