Platinum falls to a November low amid strengthening of US dollar

July 1, Fineko/abc.az. The exchange value of platinum declined to a November low due to strengthening of the US dollar, easing of geopolitical tensions and the desire of investors to book profits after the historic rise in precious metal prices.

ABC.AZ reports that during the day the metal price dropped to $1,539.6 per troy ounce, which is the lowest since November 24, 2025.

As of now, the futures price is down 0.75% at $1,554.1 per ounce.
