Milli Majlis approves execution of State Budget 2025

June 30, Fineko/abc.az. The Milli Majlis has endorsed  the Bill on Execution of State Budget 2025 in the 3rd reading.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant draft law was included in the agenda of the parliamentary session held on June 30, put up for discussion and adopted by vote.

According to the report, implementation of the State Budget in 2025 took place against the backdrop of macroeconomic stability. In the reporting year, the country recorded economic growth of 1.4% and an average annual inflation rate of 5.6%. At the same time, the current account balance surplus amounted to $3.5 billion and country's strategic foreign exchange reserves increased up to $85.1 billion.

The document emphasizes that the State Budget revenues for the previous year exceeded the projected figures:

State Budget revenues amounted to 39.2 billion manats (829 million manats, or 2.2%, more than the forecast);

State Budget expenditures were executed at the level of 93.2% of the forecast, or 38.6 billion manats.

After the discussions, the bill was put to a vote and passed in the final, third reading.
