Cost of oil goes up: Brent - $72.20 a barrel

June 29, Fineko/abc.az. The prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing in Monday’s trading after a drop at the end of last week.

As of 09:27, on the ICE Futures exchange, the price of the August futures of Brent oil rose by $0.21 (0.29%) up to $72.20 per barrel. At the end of trading on June 26, the contract fell in price by $3.27 (4.34%) to $71.99 per barrel.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), the August WTI crude oil futures grew by $0.58 (0.84%) up to $69.81 per barrel by 09:27. Following the trading on June 26, the WTI futures fell in price by $2.69 (3.74%) to $69.23 per barrel.

The cost of Azeri Light decreased by $3.01 (3.89%) to $74.36 per barrel.

Last week, Brent dropped in price by 10.65%, WTI by 8.73%, and Azeri Light by 10.36%.
