June 24, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2026, the insurance companies of Azerbaijan collected premiums in the life insurance segment for a total of AZN 450.5 million.

ABC.AZ reports that this indicator demonstrates growth of 7.9% versus Jan-May 2025. In the structure of life insurance revenues, 421.9 million manats accounted for voluntary types and 28.6 million manats for compulsory life insurance.

Other important parameters of the insurance sector for Jan-May 2026 include:

Non-life insurance segment: Non-life insurance revenues amounted to 282.1 million manats, with voluntary types accounting for 192.6 million manats and compulsory types accounting for 89.5 million manats.

Market portfolio: For Jan-May 2026, country's insurers accumulated overall premiums for 732.6 million manats.
