June 10, Fineko/abc.az. The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) has published a short-term forecast for production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons in Azerbaijan.
ABC.AZ informs, referring to EIA’s report, that compared with the estimated 2025 figure of 570,000 b/d, the average daily production in the country will decrease to 550,000 b/d in 2026 and to 520,000 b/d in 2027.
According to EIA calculations, in 2026, production volume in the 1st quarter will average 560,000 b/d, in the 2nd quarter it will decrease to 550,000 b/d, and in the 3rd and 4th quarters it will be fixed at 540,000 b/d. It is expected that a similar trend of gradual reduction will continue in 2027, when daily production in the 1st quarter will reach 530,000 barrels, in the 2nd and 3rd quarters - 520,000 barrels each, and in the final 4th quarter it will drop to 510,000 b/d.
